The Slow Burn Comics Mentorship is annual small group support for your long form comics projects.

The Slow Burn Comics Mentorship is the support I wanted while producing my first book, Dumb. Making comics can be laborious and isolating, slowly working away at your passion in the quiet of your room or studio.

Each group has a maximum of 6 participants, who meet for two hours twice per month: one meeting for PROCESS, and one for PROGRESS.

With peers who understand the unique joys and challenges of making comics, your project can progress with ease and connection, for as long as it takes to complete your work.

My guidance

In these small groups, I share from my learned experience producing two book-length comics works, as well as my health conditions that have taught me the value of listening to your body and your instincts to to make your creative practice sustainable for the length of your project.

There is no right way to make comics. In the Slow Burn groups, we will each find our own way, together.
