Making Comics is a weekly class to explore creativity and the foundations of comics. No skills or experience required.

There is so much to learn and explore in comics, and many different ways to go about it. Whatever your goals are, enjoying the process is key to reaching them! I want you to feel a little brave, a little excited, and very supported by the small group of people who are all keen to make their own narrative art!

The format of weekly, 1.5-hour online classes is aimed to be accessible, supported, and most importantly FUN :)

My philosophy is that sustaining a practice is easier when you enjoy yourself for a short amount of time, so that you’re excited to do it again and again.

An important part of any learning activity is community. It’s not enough to have a teacher who guides your process; a group of people with varying perspectives, life experiences, and artistic gifts will help you keep perspective, motivation, and inspiration as you challenge parts of yourself that might feel uncertain or unpracticed.
